Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) has issued an advisory for passengers. According to which, the arrival of some flights may be delayed or their timing may be adjusted till 4.30 pm today. In this advisory, it has been told that due to change in the wind pattern around the airport, Air Traffic Flow Management (ATFM) measures have been implemented for the arrival of aircraft from 1230 IST to 1630 IST today (Thursday) as per international and regulatory protocols, in which the safety of passengers has been given top priority.
According to the advisory, except for the change in timings of some flights, all other operations of the airport and 3 runways at Delhi airport will continue to function as per schedule during this period. However, the arrival of some flights may be delayed or delayed.
DIAL said, ‘We are working in close coordination with all stakeholders to minimize any potential disruption. In such a situation, passengers are advised to stay in touch with the respective airlines to know the latest updates on flight schedules.’
The advisory ended with an apology to the people, saying, ‘We sincerely regret any inconvenience caused by us and appreciate your understanding.’
Earlier, in an advisory issued on Wednesday night, Delhi Airport had informed the passengers that BlueSmart has temporarily suspended its operations at Delhi Airport. However, according to the advisory, there are adequate cab and taxi services available at the airport, including services of Ola, Uber, Mega, Meru, Black & Yellow Taxi and Carzonrent, which operate from both Terminal 1 and Terminal 3.
According to this advisory, passengers can also avail the Airport Express Metro for Terminal 3 and Delhi Metro Magenta Line for Terminal 1 for seamless connectivity. Sorry for any inconvenience.’
