Keeping in mind the increasing outbreak of Kovid-19, DMRC has issued new guidelines. Only 50% of the passengers will be allowed to sit in the metro.
New Delhi: Yellow Alert has been implemented in Delhi under the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP). In view of the seriousness of the environment, now DMRC has also modified its guidelines, which will help to some extent in avoiding the outbreak of Kovid infection.
DMRC issued new guidelines
DMRC has issued new guidelines in view of the guidelines of Kovid-19. According to the rules, travel will be allowed in trains with 50% seating capacity. Also, no passenger will be allowed to stand inside the metro. DMRC has decided to control entry into metro stations by limiting the number of gates to ensure compliance with the guidelines.

Follow the new rules
Passengers may have to face some inconvenience due to the new rules but following the rules is obviously better than risking their lives. Due to the heavy crowd gathering outside the metro stations last time due to control of entry, there was a danger of infection as well as inconvenience to the passengers. Now this time it is going to be a challenge for DMRC to solve this problem.
Delhi government implemented yellow alert
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that the infection rate of Kovid-19 in Delhi is more than 0.5 percent for the last two days. In Delhi, 290 cases of corona virus were reported on Sunday and 331 on Monday. In such a situation, Yellow Alert is being implemented to control the situation.
Yellow alert brought restrictions
- Night curfew will be in force from 10 pm to 5 am
- Only 20 people will be allowed to attend the wedding ceremony and funeral.
- Only 2 passengers will be allowed to travel in auto, e rickshaw, taxi and cycle rickshaw.
- – Amusement and water parks will remain closed
- Cinema halls, theaters and multiplexes will remain closed
Yellow alert under GRAP
Yellow alert has been implemented in Delhi under the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP). According to the alert of GRAP, Level-1 i.e. Yellow Alert has been implemented in Delhi under Graded Response Action Plan after the infection rate is 0.5 percent for 2 consecutive days. Level-2 i.e. Amber Alert will be issued if the infection rate is more than 1 percent, Level-3 i.e. Orange Alert if more than 2 percent and Level-4 i.e. Red Alert will be issued if it is more than 5 percent.
