DigiLocker is an internet based service. In which you can save and keep soft copies of all your documents. In this, one can upload PAN card, voter ID, driving license and even school and college certificates. To open ID in this, you must have Aadhar card.

The biggest advantage of this is that you do not need to carry the original document with you anywhere. Applicants can scan their documents and upload them on the website. Every person who registers on DigiLocker gets 10MB of personal storage space, where e-documents can be kept securely.

How to create account

First of all click on digitallocker.gov.in. Here you can create an account with the help of email id, password or Aadhaar. Or you can download Digilocker App on mobile. You have to enter your mobile number on it. After that click on Continue. Now OTP will come on your mobile or email, after entering which you have to click on Verify. Here you will have to create username and password. After signing up you will be asked for Aadhar number. After filling the Aadhar number, once again OTP will be sent to you mobile number and email. After entering which click on Continue. After this process is completed, your Aadhaar will come on the app. Now you can login here with your User ID and Password.

How to Upload Documents



After creating the ID, you can upload the documents to Digilocker. When you sign in, the upload option will appear. By clicking here, you can upload the scanned copy of the document and the photo. You can show the documents kept in Digilocker at the time of any verification.
