Don’t worry about losing PAN, Aadhaar Card or passport, use DigiLocker, open account like this

If you forgot your driving license at home, then don’t worry, now DigiLocker has got government recognition.

DigiLocker is making headlines these days because through this you can keep all your important documents safe. If you drive and have forgotten your driving license and RC book at home in a hurry, then there is no need to worry because now the government has abolished the requirement of keeping its hard copy. If you are using DigiLocker then you will not have to worry about losing documents like PAN, Aadhaar Card and Passport.

If you have kept the copy of these documents in your Digital Locker then you will not have any problem as it will now be validated. CBSE has also provided the facility to its students to keep their 10th and 12th marksheets in DigiLocker. To get the digital marksheet on DigiLocker, students have to visit the website If students do not want to download it, then they can download the marksheet by logging on to it.

To open an account on Digital Locker, visit or After that click on Sign Up in the right side. After this a new page will open, where you will have to enter your mobile number. An OTP will be sent by DigiLocker to the mobile number entered by you which you have to enter. After that set the username and password. After this you can use DigiLocker.

How to save documents:

Users can upload documents up to a maximum of 50MB in DigiLocker. First you have to scan those documents or you can click the photo of those documents. After this you can save them in DigiLocker. You can also write a short description of these documents.
