The 12 digit Aadhar card number has become one of the most important documents for the people living in India. The document serves as a proof of identity and is used in every official paperwork. From opening a bank account to applying for a home loan, Aadhaar card is required everywhere. For the longest time, UIDAI has asked Aadhaar cardholders to link their Aadhaar cards with their registered mobile numbers to download official documents.




However, now the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has made it easy for people to download Aadhaar card without having a registered mobile number.

Know here how to download Aadhar card without registered mobile number.

Step 1: Visit the official website of UIDAI.

Step 2: From the drop-down menu in the top right corner of the homepage, you will find the option ‘My Aadhaar’ – Select it

Step 3: Now you will reach a page where you will get the option of Order Aadhaar Reprint – Click on it

Step 4: After this, you have to enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number or 16-digit Virtual Identification Number (VID).

Step 5: Now enter the security code

Step 6: Now you will get the option of ‘My mobile number is not Registered’ – Click on it

Step 7: Now you have to enter your alternate number or unregistered mobile number

Step 8: Once you have entered the non-connected mobile number — click on ‘Send OTP’ option

Step 9: Now finally you have to tick the terms and conditions checkbox and click on submit

Step 10: Once you have completed all the procedures, a preview Aadhaar letter will appear on your screen for further verification. Thereafter, you have to select the option to make payment and now you have to submit your digital signature to download the PDF.




Step 11: You will now receive a service request number through SMS which will help you to track the status of your application till the Aadhaar letter is sent.
