What is Aadhar Card?
- Aadhar card number is a unique 12 digit number issued by the Government of India to the citizens of India after completing the verification process prescribed by the Unique Identification Authority of India .
- For Addhar , residents of India, irrespective of class, gender, can voluntarily enroll for Aadhar card without any discrimination .
- Any person has to enroll for Aadhar card only once in his whole life. Re-enrolment for Aadhar card is not possible.
How to Download Aadhar Card?
If your Aadhar card is generated and you want to download your Aadhar card online, then it has also been allowed by the Unique Identification Authority of India.

Note :- There are some prerequisites for downloading Aadhar card .
Prerequisites For Downloading Aadhar Card.
- You must have Aadhar Card Number or Aadhar Enrollment Number or Aadhar Card Virtual ID with any of these three.
- You base card must be registered with a mobile number.
- Because when you download Aadhar card online (e Addhar) OTP is sent to your mobile number for verification.
- Your Aadhar card download, e Addhar can be downloaded only after entering the OTP .
Process To Download E Aaddhar Card
- First of all go to the official website of UIDAI , uidai.gov.in . Click here to go to uidai.gov.in .
- As soon as you go to the website , under My eAdhar menu, you will get to see an option of download e-Aadhar .
- Download E-Aadhar must click on the option. A new page will open in front of you which will be something like this.
- Download Aadhaar here to right, you’ll see three options we mentioned above.
- Enter what you have { Adharcard number , enrollment ID , Virtual id }
- Click on the one that exists and enter its number in the box provided.
- Below this you will see a captcha , enter the captcha code and click on the button of Send OTP .
- Send OTP will be sent an OTP on the registered mobile number in the same depending on the button will be automatically downloaded to the base card after entering the OTP will enter.
How to download aadhar card by showing face
- First of all you have to click on this given link.
- On clicking the link, you will go to the UIDAI website and you will see some options here which we have shown you below.
- Here you have to enter your Aadhar card number or Virtual ID card number or Enrollment ID number.
- Now here you will see three options such as OTP / TOTP / FACE AUTH
- You have to fill the captcha code and click on the option of FACE AUTH .
- If you have this process are in your mobile then to face Auth will start to act your front camera click, if so you are this whole process through your laptop’s camera will start working and if you are doing this process through desktop then you will have to use webcam.
- As soon as the camera starts working, he has to bring his face in front of the camera and keep his face still for some time so that it can be captured.
- As soon as your face is captured, a survey form opens in front of you, in this survey form you have to answer two short questions.
- You fill the survey form and click on the download button your Aadhar card gets downloaded that too thanks to your face.
