Driving License: Now there is no need to give driving test in RTO to get DL made, rules changed from today

Driving License Application process: Now there will be no need to give a test to get a driving license. Any applicant can get a driving license made directly after completing the prescribed training at recognized driving centers.

It is not mandatory for you to give a test to get a driving license from today. Driving license applicants will no longer have to go through the long process to get DL made from the Regional Transport Office (RTO). Actually, the Union Transport Ministry has amended the rules for issuing driving licenses. It has also come into force from today. During the training, the applicants will also be told about ethical and polite behavior.

The new rule has been told in the notification issued by the Ministry of Transport. Recognized driving centers have also been informed about this. Under the new change, the applicant for a driving license will now have to complete a high-quality driving course. After completing this course, the driving license applicant will not have to clear the formality of the driving test.

High-quality training

There will be simulators and dedicated driving test track at recognized training centers where applicants will be given training during the course. During this training, the applicants will be informed and trained about all the situations that normally come while driving on the road.

How long does it take to train for light vehicles?

Under the Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) driving course, there will be 29 hours of training in 4 weeks. It has been told in the notification that this course is also divided into theory and practical courses.

How much time training will be required for heavy vehicle training?

Similarly, the training of medium and heavy vehicles will be for a total of 38 hours in 6 weeks. The training is also divided into theory and practical for the medium and heavy vehicles category.

Arrangement of special training according to the demand of the industry

Not only will you be given training in light or heavy vehicles at these recognized centers, but there will also be arrangements for special training depending on the industry. It is believed that with the help of these new rules, it will also help in meeting the shortage of skilled drivers. Skilled drivers are considered to be a major reason behind road accidents on the Indian roadways sector.

One of the reasons behind road accidents is that people are not aware of the correct rules and regulations. Let us tell you that for the first time, the recognition of any one of the driving centers will be for 5 years. After that it can be renewed.
