Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez is in big trouble. ED has taken a big action against Jacqueline Fernandez in the money laundering case related to thug Sukesh Chandrashekhar. ED has attached Jacqueline’s assets worth 7.27 crores. Jacqueline’s fixed deposit of 7.12 crores is also included in this attached asset.
Jacqueline stuck with gifts from Sukesh
According to the ED, the thug Sukesh Chandrashekhar had given gifts worth 5.71 crores to Jacqueline from the extortion money. Sukesh also gave expensive gifts to Jacqueline’s family members. The gifts given to the family included cars, expensive items, besides funds worth Rs 1.32 crore and Rs 15 lakh. It is known, Jacqueline Fernandez has been under the radar of ED for a long time. Ever since the relationship between Jacqueline and thug Sukesh Chandrashekhar was revealed, Jacqueline’s name has been mired in controversies.
Sukesh had cheated Rs 215 crore from a woman while lodged in a Delhi jail. Then Sukesh gave expensive gifts worth crores to Jacqueline from the same extortion money. These included expensive gifts like diamond, jewellery, 52 lakh horse. Sukesh earned all this money by doing crime. That’s why ED is taking strict action against Sukesh. The ED has been probing the case for the past one year. Jacqueline has been questioned by the ED several times regarding Sukesh’s cheating case.
More action possible against Jacqueline
According to the ED, this is the initial action against Jacqueline Fernandez right now. Jacqueline can get even more trapped in this case. ED can attach more properties of Jacqueline. Jacqueline has not been made an accused in this case yet. But the ED has not even given a clean chit to Jacqueline. Jacqueline is not allowed to leave the country.
There were also reports of Jacqueline and Sukesh being in a relationship. Private romantic pictures of both were leaked. However, Jacqueline has so far denied the news of her relationship with Sukesh. It has to be seen what other troubles Jacqueline has to face in this money laundering case.
