Elon Musk vs Indian American Student: Elon Musk, the richest man in the world, has been hit hard by an Indian. Indian student Randeep Hoti has sued Tesla’s CEO for defamation.
Elon Musk‘s richest billionaire and owner of the Tesla Company, is facing a fierce confrontation with an Indian student. Elon Musk has been sued by Indian student Randeep Hoti for defamation and Tesla’s owner suffered a severe defeat in the first round. Randeep Hoti is a graduate student at the University of Michigan, USA. At the trial of Randeep Hoti, a California judge dismissed Musk’s plea that his case was baseless and considered an attempt to silence the billionaire entrepreneur’s freedom of expression. Randeep Hoti is active on Twitter under the name of “@skabooshka”. Randeep came under attack from Elon Musk two years ago after two incidents. Randeep claimed in both the cases that he was not harmed.

Hoti has claimed that Musk ran an online hate campaign against him and that he filed a complaint in Alameda County Superior Court against him in August. Musk argued that this was an issue related to his freedom of expression and therefore Hoati’s case should be dismissed. Elon Musk said that Hoti could not prove that his statements were untrue or motivated by maliciousness. The judge has rejected Musk’s plea.
