With this decision of the government, 17608 village organization assistants of the state will get significant benefits. The increased honorarium is to be paid from the month of September. With this, an additional burden of Rs 106 crore has been estimated on the exchequer every year. In such a situation, the village organization assistant will get the benefit of increased honorarium from the month of October. Village organizations are staffed by assistant village organizations, which is a federation of self-help groups in the village.
Decision to allocate Rs 2 crore every year for uniforms
Earlier, Finance Minister Harish Rao held a meeting with VOA representatives along with Panchayat Raj Minister Dayakar Rao, Education Minister Savita Indra Reddy and Women and Child Welfare Minister Satyavati Rathore. Instructions have been given to the Minister of State for Panchayat to submit the report of the study of the relevant rules. The CM has decided to allocate Rs 2 crore every year for the uniforms of the VOA. With this, now he will get ₹ 8000 as salary in his account from the month of October.
