Employees Holiday: There is big news for the employees. They will get the benefit of leave. For this, the proposal has been approved in the cabinet meeting. Outsourced women employees including contract will be benefitted by this. Not only this, the Finance Department claims that such leave facility has not been made available to contract and government employees, including possible outsourcers, in any other state.
For the first time, Uttarakhand Government will provide 180 days child adoption leave to a single male employee in government service for adopting a child below one year of age. Apart from this, daily wage women employees will get the benefit of child care leave. Major proposals related to various holidays of the Finance Department have been approved.
Benefit of Child Adoption Leave
The benefit of child adoption leave for contractual employees including outsourced ones will be 120 days. Female and single male employees deployed on outsourced basis including on contract basis will get its benefit. For this, the age of the child should be less than 1 year. This leave will be granted on adoption of such a child.
Not only this, government employees will also get the benefit of child adoption leave. For this it is necessary for men to be single. Also, the leave period for them will be 180 days. This leave is already being provided to single women. It will be implemented after the GO is issued on the decision of the cabinet.

Apart from this, under child care leave, contractual outsourced female employees will get 15 days child care leave.
Single men will also be given the benefit of this leave.
Under paternity leave, 15 days paternity leave will also be provided to contractual and outsourced employees posted in various departments. Apart from this, the government will give 6 months maternity leave to the daily wage women employees of the state. Outsourced and contractual employees are also getting the benefit of leave. Now women employees of PRD will also be provided its benefits.
Tell that the government women employees are provided CCL of 2 years till the age of two children is 18 years. Now this facility will also be made available to contract women employees including outsourcers. She can take 15 days leave in a year. The benefit of leave will also be made available to men.
