EPFO: If you have not yet linked PF account with Aadhaar, then know the easy process

New Delhi. Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has given a big relief to EPF account holders. EPFO has extended the deadline for linking PF account and Universal Account Number (UAN) with Aadhaar number by three months (June 1 to September 1, 2021). It is noteworthy that earlier EPFO ​​had fixed June 1 as the deadline for Aadhaar-UAN linking. So now you can link PF account with Aadhaar by following these easy steps.

Know why it is important to link PF account with Aadhaar

Linking of PF account with Aadhaar is mandatory under Section 142 of the Social Security Code. If your Aadhaar is not linked with your UAN, then your employer will not be able to deposit the monthly PF contribution in your EPF account. Also, until the linking is done, you will not be able to take a loan or withdraw from your EPF corpus.

>> For this click on this link, https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/

>> After this, now log-in by entering your UAN and password.

>> Then now you have to click on KYC option in Manage section.

>> Now you will see many documents to link Aadhaar with EPF account.

>> You select the Aadhaar option and after typing your Aadhaar number and your name on the Aadhaar card, click on Service.

>> After this the information given by you will be secure and your Aadhaar will be verified with the data of UIDAI.

>> Your Aadhaar will be linked with your EPF account if your KYC documents are correct. And you will get “Verify” written in front of your Aadhaar information.

Offline process

Fill the “Aadhaar Seeding Application” form.

Enter your UAN and Aadhaar in the form along with all the requested details.

Attach self attested copies of your UAN, PAN and Aadhaar along with the form.

Submit it to the executive at any field office of EPFO ​​or Common Service Center (CSC) outlet.

After proper verification, your Aadhaar will be linked to your EPF account.

A message related to this will come on your registered mobile number.
