When will you get interest from EPFO?
According to media reports, the interest received from EPFO is given between June to August after the end of the financial year. The interest on the money deposited in PF is calculated on a monthly basis, but it is credited to the account on an annual basis.
In a way, it can also be said that the interest received under PF is given lump sum after the end of the financial year. Now the question arises that how can you find out whether the interest came in your account or not?

How to find out from the website-
For this, first of all you have to go to the official website of EPFO.
Now here you have to go to the Employee section.
After this click on the Member Passbook option.
Then login here with the help of UAN number.
Finally you can find out from the transactions in the passbook whether the interest was received or not.

Similarly, open the app and go to the EPFO section.
Now here you will see the option of Employee Centric Services.
After this, open it on View Passbook with the help of UAN number and OTP.
You can also find out by checking the balance-
Find out through SMS
PF balance can also be found out through a message.
For this, you have to send an SMS from the registered number to 7738299899.
If you want to know the balance in English, then you have to write EPFOHO UAN ENG and send the message.
If you want to know the balance in any other language, then the last three letters have to be changed.
For example – if you want to know the PF balance in Hindi, then you have to write EPFOHO UAN HIN and send it.
Although this method helps you find out the balance, you do not get clear information about whether the interest money has come or not.
