This distribution was made till 31 December, a source said that by December 31, 2020, EPFO ​​has disbursed 56.79 lakh clearance claims and disbursed Rs 14,310 crore. The source said that EPFO ​​has disbursed 197.91 lakh claims of final settlement, death, insurance and advances till December 31, 2020 and disbursed Rs 73,288 crore.

The organized sector was affected and about 20 percent of the total amount distributed during this period is related to Kovid-19 advance. The source says that Kovid-19 advance claims show that the organized sector workforce of the country has been badly affected by this epidemic.
