Linking your LPG gas connection with your Aadhaar card is mandatory for receiving gas subsidies and other government benefits. The purpose of Aadhaar-LPG linking is to protect the identity of beneficiaries and prevent fraudulent or duplicate claims. If you have purchased an LPG connection and have not yet linked it with Aadhaar, you may face difficulties in receiving the subsidy. It is wise to complete this important task as soon as possible. It is very easy. There are several ways to do this. Linking your Aadhaar with your LPG gas connection can be done both online and offline.
Two forms must be filled out for linking.
To link your LPG gas connection to Aadhaar, you must fill out two forms: Form 1 and Form 2, and submit them to your LPG connection provider. Form 1 is the form for LPG customers to link their bank account to Aadhaar, and Form 2 is the LPG linking form. You can download these forms online or visit the LPG distributor’s office to obtain them.
Aadhaar-LPG Linking Online Method
First, understand that LPG Aadhaar linking is not completely online. You can only download the forms, which must be submitted later.
Step 1: Visit the official website of your LPG gas connection provider, such as Indane, Bharat Gas, or HP Gas.
Step 2: Go to the “LPG Services” section and click on the ‘Join DBTL using Aadhaar’ or ‘Download Forms’ option.
Step 3: Form 1: Bank Account-Aadhaar Link Application Form (for LPG consumers only) and Form 2: LPG Aadhaar Linking Form
Download and print both forms.
Step 4: Fill out Form 1, attach a copy of your Aadhaar card, and submit it to your bank or LPG distributor office. This will link your Aadhaar to your bank account for LPG.
Step 5: Fill out Form 2, attach the required documents, and submit it to the LPG distributor office to link your Aadhaar number to your LPG consumer number or ID.
Once the details you provided are verified, your Aadhaar will be linked to your gas connection.
Aadhaar-LPG Linking Method: Offline
Step 1: Visit your nearest LPG distributor office and obtain Form 1 and Form 2.
Step 2: Fill out Form 1 and submit it to the bank or distributor office along with a copy of your Aadhaar card.
Step 3: Fill out Form 2 and submit it to the LPG distributor office along with the required documents to link your Aadhaar and LPG consumer number.

Step 1: Visit the LPG provider’s official website and download Form 1 and Form 2.
Step 2: Fill out Form 1 and submit it to your bank along with a copy of your Aadhaar card so that Aadhaar can be linked to your bank account.
Step 3: Once Aadhaar is linked to your bank account, fill out Form 2 and mail it along with the required documents to the designated address of your LPG distributor office.
