Fastag: If you drive on the highway, then you must have got FASTag installed on your vehicle. This is a sticker which is connected to radio-frequency (RFID) technology. This deducts money directly from your bank account without stopping at the toll plaza. But if you want to avail the service of another bank or are facing any problem with the existing bank, then now you can easily transfer your FASTag to another bank.

Why do people want to transfer FASTag?

Sometimes the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) imposes restrictions on some banks. If your FASTag is linked to a bank which is banned, then it will not work.

According to the One FASTag One Vehicle rule, according to the new rule of National Highway Authority of India (NHAI), only one FASTag will be valid for one vehicle. If you have taken FASTag from different banks for the same vehicle, then only the last one will work.

Want to change FASTag bank due to account inactive or poor service. Many times your FASTag account gets closed due to lack of balance or not being used for a long time. Or you are not satisfied with the service of a bank. In such a situation, choosing a new bank is a better option.

Now you don’t need to visit the bank. You can get a new FASTag from your mobile or laptop sitting at home.
