Fire breaks out in cargo area of Delhi airport Big accident averted, watch video

It is being told that the pushback vehicle caught fire at the Delhi airport due to a technical fault. The fire broke out in the trolley at around 5.25 pm and the fire was brought under control within 5 minutes, officials said.

An incident of fire came to light in the Cargo Bay of Delhi Airport on Friday evening at Delhi Airport. However, there is no information about any casualty in this accident. The fire brigade was informed about the incident at around 5:25 pm.

A pushback towing vehicle had caught fire in the cargo area. Soon after, fire tenders were called to the spot and the fire was brought under control very quickly. The cause of the fire is not clear yet. The fire caused panic at the airport for some time.

Apart from the airport, a fire broke out at the Bhalswa landfill site in North Delhi on Friday afternoon. Fire brigade officials said that they received information about the fire at 1:52 pm. After which 5 fire tenders were immediately dispatched to the spot. However, the fire was brought under control after some time.

Earlier on April 26, a fire broke out at the Bhalswa landfill site. This year the Ghazipur landfill site in East Delhi has witnessed five fires. It took more than 50 hours to control the fire that broke out there on March 28.
