First Hindu girl selected out of 18,553 candidates
A total of 18,553 candidates appeared in the Central Superior Service (CSS) written examination 2020. Only 221 candidates were selected on the basis of written examination and interview. The number of women / girls in the selected candidates was 79. In which Sana became the first Hindu girl to be selected. Let me tell you that there is only one woman topping the exam this time, whose name is Maheen Hassan.
This was the age-old tradition of Hindus living in Sindh
Sana, who lives in Kasba Chak, located in Shikarpur district of Sindh province, states that Hindus have a population of about 2 million in Sindh. Traditionally, girls from this region have been employed in health and education. Following the same tradition, I joined the Civil Hospital after doing MBBS from Chandka Medical College. Also doing FCPS in Urology from Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplant.
This was the turning point of my life
Seeing the circumstances of the patients in government hospitals, weeping began to occur. Despite being a doctor, I was not able to do anything for them. But on the contrary in bureaucracy you get many opportunities to solve these problems. So in 2019 I set a goal to pass the CSS exam. But the parents were not ready for this. I celebrated my mother and asked for a chance to fulfill my dreams.
Used to study 6-7 hours a day
I removed all social media accounts from my mobile. Downloaded all the e-books in mobile. If she went anywhere, she would open the book and start reading. From eight o’clock in the morning to eight o’clock in the night, after studying in the hospital, she studied. She was able to sleep for 5-6 hours a day.
Social media response changed parents’ mind
In the first attempt, I passed the written examination. During this time, my picture started going viral on social media. Everyone started appreciating my hard work. Seeing all this the parents were happy and encouraged me to interview and I passed both the exams.
This advice given for the examinees
If you have decided to do something, then it has to be done. Then you can make no excuse. Your success will depend on how much effort you give to your hard work. How much you can dedicate yourself to him.
