There is a good news for the people living in Jharkhand. The Champai Soren cabinet there has given a big gift to the people. Now the people of Jharkhand will get up to 125 units of electricity per month absolutely free. The proposal related to this was approved in the cabinet meeting held on Friday evening under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Champai Soren. A total of 29 proposals were approved in the cabinet.

29 lakh consumers benefited

Let us tell you that till now in the state of Jharkhand, consumers did not have to pay any fee for electricity consumption up to 100 units. Now the government has increased this limit even more. Now the people here will not have to spend any money on electricity consumed up to 125 units. The government claims that the new decision will benefit 29 lakh consumers of the state.

These proposals were approved

A total of 29 proposals were approved in the cabinet meeting. In this, it has been decided by Jharkhand Milk Federation to establish new dairy plants in Giridih and Jamshedpur in the state and milk powder and milk product plants in Hotwar, Ranchi. Approximately Rs 500 crore will be spent on these projects. The Cabinet has also approved the bill related to the establishment of International University in Bokaro. According to another important decision, now 4-G POS machines will be made available in the public distribution system shops in the state instead of 2-G.

In this meeting, amendment in Jharkhand Building Bylaws 2016 was also approved. Earlier there was a provision in the bylaws that people used to donate land in favor of the government on the roads which were wider. The plans for the buildings were approved only after the land was donated. In this sequence, it was found that the land of the people affected by the CNT Act could not be transferred and they could not even donate it to anyone.

In view of this, it was decided in the cabinet that after surrendering the land to be donated, they will not use it in any way in future. If they use it then the building plan will be rejected. Apart from this, people who meet the criteria of green building have now been authorized to give certificates to ASSOCHAM.
