The state government has announced to provide free cylinders to the beneficiaries of the Ujjwala scheme. Yogi cabinet has announced to provide free LPG gas cylinders twice a year. This will benefit more than 1 crore beneficiaries. Let us tell you that recently the Modi cabinet increased the subsidy of the beneficiaries of Ujjwala scheme from Rs 200 to Rs 300. Earlier, the cabinet had announced a cut of Rs 200 on LPG.
How to apply for the scheme-

- You will have to download a form here.
- Download the form and submit all the details.
- After this deposit it at the nearest gas agency.
- Documents like ration card, photo, mobile number etc. will be required.
- After document verification, you will get a new connection under Ujjwala.

How much cheaper than normal customers
In the country’s capital Delhi, ordinary customers are getting domestic LPG cylinder for Rs 903. At the same time, customers covered under Ujjwala scheme get domestic cylinder for Rs 603. The government is giving a subsidy of Rs 300 to the beneficiaries of Ujjwala.
