Christmas is celebrated with great enthusiasm in these three cities, which is why local holidays have been announced. Branches of both public and private banks will be closed on this day. Banks will remain open in the rest of the country.

Despite bank closures, UPI, mobile banking, internet banking, and ATM services will operate as usual. Customers will be able to perform online transactions, bill payments, and ATM cash withdrawals. However, for essential branch-related work, banks will have to wait for the banks to reopen.

December 25 (Christmas)

All banks will be closed across the country.

December 26 (Christmas Celebrations)

Banking services will not be available in Aizawl, Kohima, and Shillong.

December 27

Banks will be closed only in Kohima.

December 30 (Death Anniversary of U Kyang Nangbah)

Banks will be closed in Shillong.

December 31 (New Year’s Eve/Imoinu Iratpa)

Banks will be closed in Aizawl and Imphal.
