First Anniversary Of Adani Mangal Seva: Jeet Adani, younger son of Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani, along with his wife Diva Shah, participated in the ‘Mangal Seva’ program started to help disabled women on their first wedding anniversary. During this, he said that marital life cannot progress in fear and insecurity, and this initiative has been started with this thought in mind. Jeet Adani said that this year, 500 newly married disabled women are being given financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh each.

This program has been started especially with the aim of making newly married disabled women self-reliant and giving them a secure future, under which this assistance will be provided to 500 women every year. Diva Shah thanked everyone on this occasion.

500 women with disabilities receive ₹10 lakh each

Jeet Adani reiterated the Adani Foundation’s commitment to provide fixed deposits of ₹10 lakh each for 500 women with disabilities getting married under the “Mangal Seva” initiative. In his address marking the initiative’s first anniversary, Jeet Adani, Director of Adani Airports, said that when the Foundation spoke with families, it realized that while marriage can be joyous and meaningful for many women with disabilities, it also comes with concerns about finances, health, and long-term security.

He said the Foundation felt that if something were to be done, it should be something that would permanently alleviate this anxiety, not exacerbate it. Sharing his own experiences, he mentioned a woman who was hearing impaired and, after marriage, worried that she would always be dependent on others. Jeet Adani explained that over the past year, by planning her income from fixed deposits, she not only began contributing to the household but also planned for her child’s future.

He said that this transformation from anxiety to confidence, from silence to voice, is the soul of Mangal Seva, and these stories inspire us to continue this journey.

FDs are not money, but a ‘safety shield’.

Jeet Adani said that the interest earned on this fixed deposit will support the beneficiary woman every year, and after 10 years, the entire amount will be hers. Jeet Adani said, “This FD isn’t just money; it’s assurance, it’s a choice, it’s a safety shield that empowers a woman to plan her life with confidence. Very quickly, we realized that Mangal Seva isn’t just about giving, but about standing together.” At the launch of the program, Jeet Adani met 21 disabled brides and their husbands.

Gautam Adani said, “The pledge to donate 10 lakh rupees each is growing.”

Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani shared an emotional post on the social media platform X on Thursday, announcing that Jeet and Diva are completing one year of married life and extended his heartfelt congratulations to both of them on this joyous occasion. He wrote that exactly one year ago, on this day, Jeet and Diva had pledged to perform “Mangal Seva,” a pledge to provide financial assistance of 10 lakh rupees per sister to 500 newly married disabled sisters every year, and this initiative continues with the same dedication and commitment.

Gautam Adani said that over time, this initiative has given many families a new beginning, filled with respect, confidence, and renewed hope. He emotionally expressed that when a daughter’s life is filled with smiles and confidence, the satisfaction of that moment feels greater than any achievement or glory in the world.

As a father, he expressed his gratitude that his children, along with their personal happiness, are also striving to bring hope and smiles to the lives of many families. Concluding his post, he prayed that this spirit of service continues to bring happiness, respect, and renewed hope to many families, and that Jeet and Diva continue to progress on this path.
