The case is of Lebanon. Where 28-year-old activist Sali Hafiz reached Beirut Bank on Wednesday with a toy gun. Here, by showing a gun, he asked the bank workers to withdraw money in a filmy style. Seeing the gun in the girl’s hand, people got scared and there was a scream in the bank.
Amidst the uproar, sister-in-law Hafiz said that she had not come to kill anyone. He just has to withdraw the money deposited in his account, which is stuck in the bank for a long time. Hafiz threatened the employee present at the cash counter with a gun and forcibly got Rs 10 lakh 33 thousand out of his account.

money was needed for sister’s treatment
Hafiz was shooting this entire incident live. In her video, she says that she urgently needed money for her sister’s cancer treatment. About 40 lakh rupees were to be spent for the treatment. There were already around 16 lakh deposits in the bank. But the last three years she was not able to get them out.
The bank was repeatedly paying only 15 thousand rupees. Angered by this, Hafiz took a dangerous step and withdrew 10 lakh rupees out of 16 lakhs from the bank in one go.
Significantly, since the economic crisis that started in 2019, the bank deposits have been frozen by the Lebanese government for three years. People are getting worried to withdraw their own money. The bank is giving only a fixed amount to its customers.
In her video, the girl was heard saying- ‘I am sister-in-law Hafiz, I have come to get money for the treatment of my sister who is dying in the hospital today. I have not come to kill anyone… I have come to claim my rights.’
Hafiz further said that she repeatedly went to the bank to ask for her money and but every time it was said that she could only pay $ 200 (15 thousand) per month.
At the same time, an AFP correspondent present at the scene said that during the robbery, flammable material was poured inside the bank.
Nadine Nakhal, a customer of the bank, said, “The girl threw gasoline everywhere and threatened to burn her with a lighter.” He also said that with the gun, the girl had threatened to shoot the bank manager if she did not give the money.
