HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Saumil Gandhi said, “Spot gold was trading higher by Rs 370 at Rs 61,350 per 10 grams in Delhi markets.” In the overseas market, gold and silver were trading higher at $2,023 an ounce and $24.26 an ounce, respectively.
Comex gold rose in Asian trading hours on Monday as rising fears of a US debt-limit crisis and a banking sector crisis supported precious metal prices, said Gandhi.
