Gold Price [today]: The price of gold fell today, know the price of 22 carat in Delhi, Patna and Lucknow

Gold Price Today: On Tuesday, the price of 10 grams of 22 carat gold came down from Rs 47,190 to Rs 47,040. According to the Good Returns website, the price of silver fell to Rs 67,800 per kg. The price of 22 carat gold in New Delhi was Rs 47,150 per 10 grams. In Chennai, it was increased to Rs 45,460. Today the rate of Mumbai is Rs 47,040. In Lucknow and Patna, the price of 22 carat gold was Rs 47150 and Rs 47040 per 10 grams today.




The price of 24 carat gold came down to Rs 47,040 per 10 grams on Tuesday, which was Rs 48,190 in the previous trading session. Silver on Tuesday fell by Rs 600 to Rs 67,800 from Rs 68,400 per kg. The Indian rupee on Monday lost 31 paise to close at 74.88 against the US currency. In the global market, spot gold fell 0.2% to $ 1,807.59 an ounce. US gold futures fell 0.3% to end at $1,809.20.

“The impact of the lockdown on retail demand following a massive inventory build-up in February-April 2021 has resulted in a sharp decline in gold imports,” analysts at Icra Ltd wrote in a note. Gold imports stood at just $2.8 million in April and $76 million in May last year due to stringent lockdowns imposed in the wake of the pandemic in April and May, compared to a monthly average of $2.3 billion in FY15.

Reuters news agency reported that dealers offered discounts of up to $10 an ounce on official domestic prices, the highest since mid-September 2020. Gold prices in India include 10.75 percent import and 3 percent GST.
