Gold Rate Today: Gold prices fell on Monday, the first day of the week. On the morning of February 16th, the price of 24-carat gold in the capital Delhi fell to Rs 157,890 per 10 grams. In Mumbai, the price was Rs 157,740 per 10 grams. On Friday, the price of gold in the Delhi bullion market fell by Rs 2,400, or 1.5 percent, to Rs 1,58,500 per 10 grams.

Gold Price in Delhi: The price of 24-carat gold in Delhi is Rs 157,890 per 10 grams. The price of 22-carat gold is Rs 144,740 per 10 grams.

Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata: Currently, the price of 22 carat gold in Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata is ₹144,590 per 10 grams, while the price of 24 carat gold is ₹157,740 per 10 grams.

Price in Pune and Bengaluru: In these two cities, the price of 24 carat gold is ₹157,740 per 10 grams and the price of 22 carat gold is ₹144,590 per 10 grams.

Globally, spot gold is trading above $5,000 per ounce. JPMorgan estimates that gold prices will reach $6,300 per ounce by the end of 2026. Ajoy Chawla, Managing Director (MD) of Titan Company, says that customers are now buying gold, treating every drop in prices as an opportunity, just like stock investors. He acknowledged that gold prices continue to fluctuate, but demand remains strong.

Silver price

Silver also declined on the morning of February 16th. The price is at ₹274,900 per kilogram. The spot price of silver in the international market is $77.30 per ounce. On Friday, the price of silver in the Delhi bullion market fell by ₹13,500, or 5.03 percent, to ₹255,000 per kilogram. In January, the price of silver had crossed the ₹4 lakh mark.
