On this, SBI tweeted and wrote – To cancel the registration of your mobile, please contact our YONO helpline number 1800111101 with your registered mobile number. Call our YONO helpline number 1800111101. Then select the language option. Press 1 for English and 2 for Hindi. Press 5 to select the option to de-register your mobile.
If you want to update your number in Online SBI account then this is the process
- First of all log in to SBI Internet Banking.
- Click on ‘My Accounts and Profile’.
- After clicking on Profile, you have to click on Personal Details.
- After this, you have to click on the mobile number and fill the new details on it.
- You will have three options to update the number. The first option is of OTP. Internet Banking from Second Option ATM
- Request approval and third is through approval from the contact centre.
- After selecting the option, you have to enter the card details and captcha.
- After that click on Proceed.
- Now a message will come on your screen regarding mobile number updation.
- An SMS will come on both your new and old mobile numbers, in which the activated numbers will be different.
- You have to copy the ACTIVATE to the reference number written in both the messages and send it to 567676 from both the mobile numbers.
- In this way, the process of updating the mobile number in the account of SBI will be completed.
