At present, the country’s largest state-run State Bank of India (SBI) has introduced Door Step Banking service. Under this facility of SBI, many types of tasks can be completed from home. Under the State Bank’s Doorstep Banking Service, customers will get the facility to withdraw and deposit cash at home. To take advantage of this facility, registration has to be done at the home branch of the bank. Doorstep banking facility can be availed between 9 am to 4 pm.

In order to take advantage of the State Bank’s doorstep service, the KYC verification of the customer must be completed. The benefit of this service of the bank will be available within a radius of 5 km from the home branch. For this, the mobile number has to be registered with the bank.




Not all customers will benefit from State Bank of India’s doorstep banking service. The benefit of this will only be given to blind or visually impaired people, people above 70 years of age and people with disabilities. With this, this service of the bank will also benefit those people who have been suffering from some disease for a long time.

The facility of doorstep banking service includes cash transactions, check checks, delivery of drafts, taking Form H, taking life certificates and KYC documents. The benefit of these facilities can be availed from 9 am to 4 pm by calling 1800111103 number.

Under the facility of doorstep service of State Bank, GST will also have to be charged with a fee of Rs 60 for every visit for non-financial transactions. 100% GST will be levied on financial transactions. At the same time, a limit of 20 thousand rupees has been fixed for cash withdrawal and deposit.

Doorstep banking facility will not be available to joint account holders. Apart from this, even minor account holders cannot avail this facility. Explain that apart from State Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank are also providing this facility.
