Good news for passengers traveling by airplane, IndiGo launched new service

At present, this service will be available to air passengers of Delhi and Hyderabad. Under the door-to-door baggage transfer service, IndiGo will pick up the passengers’ luggage from home and transport it to the final destination.

There is good news for passengers traveling by airplane. Low-cost airline IndiGo has launched Door-to-Door Baggage Transfer Service to facilitate passengers. At present, this service will be available to air passengers of Delhi and Hyderabad. Under the door-to-door baggage transfer service, IndiGo will pick up the passengers’ luggage from home and transport it to the final destination.




The airline said that it would later launch a new facility in Mumbai and Bengaluru in partnership with CarterPorter, called 6Ebagport (6EBagport). Under ‘6EBagport’ the passenger’s luggage is safely taken and transported from the first to the final destination with tracking.

When will you get this facility

Baggage service can be availed 24 hours before the flight of an air passenger flight through 6EBagport and this facility can be availed anytime after arrival. Service insurance will also be done with this facility of the airline. A service insurance of Rs 5,000 per baggage will be done for each content and container.

Launched 14 new flights

Earlier, IndiGo said that it has launched 14 new flights from 28 March under the regional connectivity scheme Udaan. These flights have been started on various routes including Bhubaneswar-Allahabad, Bhubaneswar-Varanasi, Bhopal-Allahabad, Dibrugarh-Dimapur, Shillong-Agartala and Shillong-Silchar.

Canceled money returned for air tickets

The airline said that it had returned an amount of Rs 1,030 crore, the air tickets were canceled during the lockdown. Explain that in September last year, the Supreme Court had directed all airline companies to return the entire amount by 31 March 2021 to those passengers whose flights were canceled during the lockdown period.
