New Delhi: The Central Government Made Big Announcements On Monday. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman Said, The Self-Reliant India Employment Scheme Is Being Extended From 30 June 2021 To 31 March 2022. Under This Scheme, The Central Government Will Fill The Share Of Both Employer And Employee Of PF In Companies With 1000 Employees. In Companies With More Than 1000 Employees, The Government Will Bear 12% Of The Employee’s Share For PF.
This Scheme Was Implemented On 1 October 2020. It Was Then Implemented Till 30 June 2021. Now Its Duration Has Been Extended. Under This Scheme, EPFO-Registered Establishments Take Such New Employees Who Did Not Have PF Account Earlier Or Who Have Lost Their Jobs, Then This Scheme Will Benefit Their Employees. The Finance Minister Announced That The Emergency Credit Guarantee Scheme Is Being Increased From Rs 3 Lakh Crore To Rs 4.5 Lakh Crore.
The Finance Minister Said, There Is A Credit Guarantee Scheme Through Micro Finance Institutions, With A Target To Reach 25 Lakh Small Borrowers. In This, A Maximum Loan Of 1.25 Lakh Will Be Given To A Person. The Interest Rate Will Be 2% Less Than The Maximum Interest Rate Fixed As Per The Guidelines Of The Reserve Bank.
To Revive Tourism, More Than 11,000 Registered Tourist Guides And Other Stakeholders Will Be Given Financial Assistance, He Said. When International Tourism Starts, Visas Will Be Issued To The First 5 Lakh Tourists At No Charge. Any Tourist Will Get This Benefit Only Once And This Scheme Will Continue Till The Completion Of 5 Lakh Visas On Or Before 31 March 2022. There Is A Credit Guarantee Scheme Of Rs 1.1 Lakh Crore For The Sectors Affected By Kovid And Rs 50,000 Crore For The Health Sector. 3
