Good news for UP board students, will be able to give high school and intermediate exams again to increase the number

If your Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council (UP Board) also gets low marks in high school and intermediate exams, then there is no need to be disappointed now. The UP board will give a chance to appear in the exam again to increase the marks. The board examination will be held once a year as before. The student will be able to increase the marks by appearing in the second year board examination. He will be given a chance to appear in the examination of all subjects. It will be implemented from the board examination of 2022 only. On the lines of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE), the UP Board will again give an opportunity to increase the number in all subjects. It has also been included in the National Education Policy 2020. This decision was taken in a meeting of the task force constituted to implement the National Education Policy in Uttar Pradesh under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Dinesh Sharma.




Under the new education policy in front of Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Dinesh Sharma, the decision of the steering committee of the UP Board to conduct high school and intermediate exams twice a year was placed before the task force. In the meeting, the members said that re-examination will cost a lot of money. In such a situation, the system that is going on now, should be tested only once a year. At the same time, students could increase their marks by joining the second year board examination. The same is also available in universities at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

An MoU was also signed between the Department of Higher Education and the Department of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. Now students of universities and colleges will also be able to do internships. At the meeting, Director of Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission, Kunal Silku said that a total of Rs 2,500 is being given under the CM Apprenticeship Scheme. The central government is giving Rs 1,500 and the UP government is giving Rs 1,000.

In the meeting, Additional Chief Secretary Higher Education Monica S. Garg said that an industry-academia cell will be formed. Research for industries will be conducted by higher educational institutions and industries will provide students with internship opportunities. Additional Chief Secretary Secondary Education Aradhana Shukla, Prof. Dr. Nishi Pandey of English Department and Anil Agarwal, President of Unaided School Association were also present in the meeting.

Classroom to Inter studies under one roof: Now the emphasis will be on opening Composite Schools in UP. Here classes from one to intermediate will be under one roof. The Basic Education Council and the Department of Secondary Education will jointly establish schools under this scheme. Primary schools, which are next to secondary schools, will now be merged to form a campus.
