Jio, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries (RIL), has now launched its web browser ‘Jio Pages’ (JioPages) for Android TV as well. This web browser made in India supports Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Gujarati, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Bengali languages.

New Delhi. Reliance Jio has also introduced its India-developed browser ‘Jio Pages’ (JioPages) for Android TV. It is available in eight Indian languages. The company claims that Jio Pages will provide a better experience for Android TV users. With this help, webpages will load much faster. If you understand in easy words, users will now get a better browsing experience. Apart from English, it will work in Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Gujarati, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Bengali languages.

Jio says that with the help of web pages, there will be better media streaming than before. Jio Pages was made available for Smartphone and Jio Set Top Box before Android TV. After being successful on Jio STB, now it has also been introduced for Android TV all over the world. Jio Pages has become available on Google Playstore. It has been developed on the Chromium Blink engine. It provides a better browsing experience to the customers by faster engine migration. Also loads web pages faster. Apart from this, effective media streaming also supports emoji domains and facilitates encrypted connections.




Users will get two modes for browsing

Reliance Jio said that Jio Pages for Android mobile users is available on Google Playstore since 2018. It has received a great response from the mobile users and in the last 25 months it has got more than 10 million downloads. Android TV users can customize the Geo Pages in their preferred language. Users will get two modes of browsing in it. These include private browsing on the family device and the default browsing mode in incognito mode. Browsing in incognito mode will not store in the history system. Apart from this, users can view trending news in their own language or download e-newspersons and read it on the big screen.
