Good News: People got houses from this government scheme cheaply, Finance Minister himself handed over key of house to 650 people

The key to the affordable price house, prepared under the Affordable and Mid-Income Housing Fund Special Window Scheme, was handed over to the buyers on Thursday.

But the project of the government’s Affordable and Mid-Income Housing Fund Special Window Scheme has fulfilled the dream of home buyers. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman himself handed over the keys to such houses built in Mumbai’s Rivali Park to buyers through online invites. In this video conferencing program held on Thursday, the Finance Minister handed over the keys of these affordable houses to about 650 buyers.

Minister of State for Finance Anurag Thakur was also present during the program. This project has been completed through a special window funding. SBI Cap Ventures (SBICap Ventures) has taken care of the fund. The objective of starting the Affordable and Mid-Income Housing Fund Scheme is to provide good homes for people to live at affordable prices.

Mumbai project got first fund
A tweet statement has been issued by the Finance Ministry in this regard. According to which the residential project located in suburban Mumbai which is in ‘Rivli Park’, it was the first residential project in the country. It has received funds under the government’s Swamih Fund managed by SBICAP Undertakings.

204 projects got approval
A total of 204 projects have been approved under the special window of Affordable and Mid-Income Housing Fund. This will benefit about 1,16,572 home buyers. The government has set a budget of about Rs 18,546 crore for the project. The central government started this scheme in November, 2019.
