Good news: Unmanned metro train coaches arrive in Mumbai; Trial run in February

Eknath Shinde had recently said that he intends to start Metro-2A and Metro-7 services from May 2021. For this, Eknath Shinde had gone to Bangalore and inspected the metro coaches. These coaches have since been brought to Mumbai.




Where will the trial run take place?
The trial run will be for Dahisar-Andheri (Metro-7) and Dahisar-DN Nagar (Metro 2A). The trial run will begin in February. After that, a total of 576 coaches will arrive in Mumbai in phases. Metro on both these routes will be driverless. But initially the metro will be run with a driver. The driverless metro will then start when the state-of-the-art system is activated. As Metro coaches are being built in India alone, each coach has saved Rs 2 crore.

Fadnavis travels through Delhi Metro, but criticism on Thackeray government
State Opposition Leader Devendra Fadnavis traveled on the Delhi Metro on Wednesday. He shared a photo of the trip on Twitter. He also tweaked the Mahavikasaghadi government on the issue of Metro-3, which was stalled due to a car shed dispute.

I traveled by Metro train on my way back to Delhi Airport today. The journey took much less time than the usual road route. When will I be able to travel this way to the airport via Metro-3 in Mumbai? Devendra Fadnavis commented that the confusion created by the Mahavikasaghadi government over the issue of car sheds does not seem sustainable.
