The bank said in its tweet, updating KYC is now easy! No exit required, just use IDBI Bank Video KYC or i Net Banking or send an SMS – RKYC to 9820346920 and complete the process with ease.
In continuation of the various digital measures introduced by IDBI Bank, customers can now update their KYC through V-CIP without visiting branches. Customers can initiate the process at their convenience through the V-CIP link available on the Bank’s website. It is a completely contactless process.

Update KYC in these ways
- You can do this work through SMS. For this, a message has to be sent by writing RKYC to the number 9820346920 from your registered mobile number. Before this a message is received from the bank, after that this message has to be sent.
- There is a link in the message received from the bank which has to be clicked. In lieu of the message, the bank also sends the mail to the registered mail id in which the link is given.
- KYC updation facility is also available in internet banking. Here go to Service & Request and click on Net Banking
- Customers can also do Video-KYC if they want. This link is available on the Bank’s website. There the whole process of video link is also told.
Video KYC can be done from 10 am to 6 pm on other days except Sundays and bank holidays. If the customer is facing any inconvenience in working online or is facing difficulty in understanding the process, then he can call the toll free number of the bank.
