Internet search giant Google has launched a new video service for its users. The name of this video service is Threadit. It is a standalone website as well as a Chrome extension. The service has been developed by Google’s in-house incubator, Area 120. With this service, users can record clips or can also share the screen with their teammates.
Keller Smith, founder and general manager of Threadit, said in a blog post, “Threadit helps you to say and show more with a video message than an email or chat. It helps us reduce unnecessary meetings. ”
Video can be made by adding multiple clips
Users can record multiple short clips with the help of which a video message can be added later. On Threadit, users can control whether the recipients can respond to the clips or add their videos to it or limit them to only watch.
Threadit will get 18 pre-loaded templates
This tool comes with 18 pre-loaded templates like standup, pitch, code review, feedback on design tutorials, fairwall. All of them come with different steps so that users can record the relevant videos comfortably. Along with this, Threadit also allows users to share a clip via a link to make the exchange of clips easier, so that they will not even need to download the video.
