Announcement to change the promotion system of police
Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot has announced a change in the promotion system of the police. Now promotions from constable to inspector will be conducted through DPC without examination. Lakhs of police personnel will get its benefit. The CM said that the promotion system from police constable to inspector will be changed. They will get the benefit of promotion through Departmental Promotion Committee instead of examination.
It may be mentioned that till now an examination had to be given for promotion whereas in other departments promotions were done through DPC. Not only this, on completion of 75 years of Rajasthan Police, the Chief Minister has also announced to give Panchsati Medal to the Rajasthan Police from Constable to J.
Announcement of providing free ration kit in Annapurna Ration Scheme
