The interest rates are reviewed by the government every 6 months.

At this time, private and public banks of the country are paying only 4 to 6 percent interest to customers. At the same time, investors are getting interest at the rate of 7.15 percent on RBI bonds. Investors do not get any fixed rate of interest on RBI Bonds, but interest rates are reviewed every 6 months. It has been linked with the National Savings Certificate from the Center.
