The central government has exempted this obligation in the new rules. The essentiality of Aadhaar number has also been removed in the messaging solution message (Sandes) and in the biometrics attendance system of government offices.

Now according to this new rules, the essentiality of Aadhaar for life certificate has been removed. It has been changed from compulsory to voluntary. That is, if any pensioners want, they can give information about Aadhaar, or if they do not want it, they will not give it.

Due to this rule being voluntary, the major problem of pensioners has been resolved. Please tell that pensioners have to run for Life Certificate at the beginning of every year. This becomes even more difficult when the biometric information given in a pensioner’s Aadhaar card is not updated or any other technical problem arises. However, now they will get a lot of relief.
