The country’s second largest public sector bank Punjab National Bank (PNB) has brought a golden opportunity for people buying a house or commercial property. PNB is offering great offers to buy houses, shops and plots in its mega e auction. The bank is conducting Mega E-Auction on 15th June i.e. today itself. Actually, the bank is going to auction the mortgaged property to get back the amount in debt. There are 12885 residential properties and 2828 commercial properties up for auction in this mega auction of PNB. Apart from this, there are industrial properties 1407, agricultural properties 101. A total of 11 banks are participating in this. These are the properties which have come in the list of default. PNB has given information about this auction by tweeting.

Which properties are auctioned
Actually, the people to whom the bank gives loans, for this, they mortgage their residential property or commercial property etc. If the borrower is unable to repay his loan, then in this situation the bank auctions his mortgaged property to recover his money. The respective branches of PNB publish advertisements through newspapers and other media.

What is the need to participate in E-Auction

  • EMD i.e. Earnest Money Deposit for the respective property mentioned in the e-auction notice
  • The ‘KYC documents’ have to be shown at the concerned bank branch.
  • The person participating in the auction must have a digital signature. If not, the e-auctioneer or any other
  • Authorized agency can be contacted.
  • E-mail will be sent to the bidder’s email id after depositing the EMD at the concerned bank branch and showing the KYC documents.
  • Auctioneer will send login ID and password.
  • You can bid by logging in on time on the day of e-auction as per rules of auction.
