One of the best selling semi-annual plans of Jio is its 150 Mbps plan. JioFiber offers a 150 Mbps broadband plan for six months at a price of Rs 5,994. However, in this, users get the benefits of a long-term plan, as the actual validity of the plan is 180 days + 15 days extra, that too at no extra cost. With this JioFiber plan, users get 150 Mbps symmetrical upload and download speeds. Apart from this, JioFiber’s plan comes with subscription to 14 OTT platforms and two Jio applications. OTT subscriptions include Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar and more.
2. Excitel’s three prepaid plans
Coming to the semi-annual plans, Excitel offers three plans, which come with different speeds. All three plans come with a validity of six months. In which the user gets speeds of 100 Mbps, 200 Mbps or 300 Mbps for the price of Rs 490, Rs 545 and Rs 600 respectively. These prices are on monthly basis and do not include GST. Also, Excitel’s plans are virtually unlimited, which come with no FUP data limit.
3. BSNL’s 200 Mbps Plan
Under Bharat Fiber Broadband, the government telecom company BSNL offers 200 Mbps half-yearly plan. Users can go for the ‘Fiber Premium Plus Half-Yearly’ plan from the telco, which offers internet speed of 200 Mbps for a validity of six months at a cost of Rs 7,024. The mentioned price is exclusive of GST and this plan comes with a FUP limit of 3300GB or 3.3TB. After the data limit is exhausted, users get 15 Mbps internet speed and the ‘Fiber Premium Plus Half-Yearly’ plan also offers 90% discount up to Rs.500 on fares on the first bill.
4. Tata Play Fiber 200 Mbps Plan
Tata Play Fiber Broadband offers half-yearly subscription with all its broadband plans. Tata Play is one of the major players in the market and has always come up with plans as per the requirement of the user. Users can get 200 Mbps broadband plan from Tata Play Fiber which comes at a price of Rs 5,550 for six months. This plan actually helps the users to save around Rs 1,350 as compared to the monthly payment. The 200 Mbps plan of Tata Play Fiber is really cheap, but it does not offer any additional benefits like OTT platform subscription.
5. Yu Broadband’s 200 Mbps plan
Last in the list is the 200 Mbps plan broadband plan offered by You Broadband. The ISP is operated by Vodafone and provides its services in select 18 cities in India. The telco offers a broadband plan of 200 Mbps speed with a price tag of Rs 6,372 with a validity of 190 days. The price of the pack includes GST and the FUP data limit available on the plan is 3.5TB or 3500GB. The plans mentioned are based on the city of Chennai and may vary slightly across the country.
