Green Ration Card News: Not only in East Singhbhum district of Jharkhand but in the state, the matter of non-completion of preparation of Green Ration Card has come to light. Due to this, there has been a delay in making cards and giving them to the cardholder and starting ration distribution on the basis of the said card. According to the sources, till January 15 in East Singhbhum district, only 4,376 families have been allowed to give green ration (9997 members or units in it), whereas in the district, ration cards of 1,04, 307 people have been made for green ration card. The target was given, it includes 57 thousand people in the urban area (apportionment).
Here, according to the announcement of Hemant Government, ration of poor families was to be given from the green ration card from the month of January, but till January 15, neither the allocation of foodgrains nor supply of food grains for 1.04 lakh families could be done, whereas Jharkhand The primary list of 1,44,230 people has been prepared in the past by examining one application each from the level teachers of PDS shop for giving green ration card under the state food security scheme.
A large number of applications are pending for transfer from PH to green ration. A large number of applications have been stuck due to the transfer of the forms submitted for the ration card in the PH category being created by the National Food Security Act in the district, as well as the green ration card generated from the Jharkhand State Security Scheme. District supply officer of East Singhbhum, Rajiv Ranjan said that by January 15, final approval has been granted online as per the rules to make green ration card of 4,376 families in the district. 9997 members are included in those ration cards.
