The company stated that this move is aimed at increasing demand ahead of the festive season and encourages customers to enjoy better value, ownership, and the MG brand experience. MG Gloster customers will receive additional benefits of up to ₹350,000.
Aster: Discounts up to ₹54,000
Hector: Discounts up to ₹1.49 lakh
Gloster: Discounts up to ₹3.04 lakh
The government recently announced major reforms to GST. Following the GST reform, major automakers like Tata, Hyundai, and Toyota announced significant price reductions. Under the new GST slabs, cars up to 1200 cc petrol and 1500 cc diesel, and cars under 4 meters in length, will now be taxed at 18%. Previously, these vehicles were taxed at 28%. Vehicles with a capacity of more than 1500 cc and vehicles longer than 4 meters will now be taxed at 40%.
