Gurgaon: The demand for oxygen in the city’s hospitals has increased. 600 to 800 oxygen cylinders are being refilled daily for patients living on ventilators during the corona period. The city, emerging as a medical hub, has more than 280 small hospitals. In which the government has taken the responsibility of recruitment and treatment of Kovid patients in all the major multispecialty hospitals.

Not only this, due to being a medical hub, patients from North India to Delhi NCR are getting their treatment here. In order to save their lives due to the majority of patients being corona infected, the demand and production of oxygen has reached double levels.

Foreign also under treatment

Not only NCR but a large number of foreigners are also getting their treatment here. In which patients from many countries including Tehran, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Colombo have come for treatment. According to officials, these patients on medical visas are being treated at Medanta, Fortis, Artemis, Paras, Sigretcher, Park and Columbia Asia Hospital.

Medical Oxygen Standards?

According to officials, most of the oxygen cylinders manufactured in the country are manufactured by 93 percent per IP (Indian Pharmaceutical). Its print is also fixed on all cylinders.
