Heatwave Alert: IMD said heatwave conditions are likely to continue over parts of northwest and east India during the next 5 days.

Rain Alert: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that heavy rains are likely over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, some places over Sikkim, Assam and Meghalaya during the next 3 to 4 days.

The Meteorological Department said that some places in Nagaland, Mizoram and Tripura may receive heavy rainfall on Thursday (June 13, 2024).

The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy to very heavy rains in Karnataka, Kerala and Telangana on Wednesday (June 12, 2024).

The IMD said that the southwest monsoon has advanced into some places over north Arabian Sea, more parts of central Maharashtra and southern Gujarat.

The Meteorological Department said that the southwest monsoon is going to cover more districts of Telangana and Maharashtra in the next two days.

The Meteorological Department has predicted above average monsoon rainfall in India this year. This is good news for the country’s agriculture sector.
