Heatwave alert: Since the beginning of April, the heat wave has started in most areas of the country. Last day i.e. March 31 was the hottest day of the season in Delhi with a temperature of 35.2 degrees. Apart from this, rain continues in North-East India. According to the Meteorological Department, today the sky will be mainly clear and there is a possibility of strong winds. The maximum temperature can be 34 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature can be 20 degrees Celsius.
Weather condition of Uttar Pradesh
There is a possibility of strong surface winds in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, during the day today. The weather here is also expected to soften due to the winds. Today the minimum temperature of Lucknow can be recorded at 20 and the maximum temperature can be recorded at 36 degrees Celsius.
Heatwave alert
The heat has increased so much that many states are struggling with heatwave. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned of heat wave in Telangana today and tomorrow i.e. 1-2 April and in Rayalaseema till 4 April. At the same time, heatwave alert has been issued for 2-4 April in Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and North Interior Karnataka.
Heat wave in odisha
The weather forecast has indicated a possible rise in temperature in many districts of Odisha from April 2, 2024. The forecast expects the cyclonic circulation over North Chhattisgarh and its surrounding areas to subside, which was earlier influencing the weather patterns. According to the IMD bulletin, due to the projected increase in maximum temperatures and presence of high humidity in the atmosphere, the maximum (day) temperatures and minimum (night) temperatures are likely to increase over various districts of Odisha.

According to weather forecasting agency Skymet, light to moderate rain and snowfall may cause lightning in Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim. At the same time, there may be light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in East Madhya Pradesh, Central Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh.
