Himachal: Nocturnal curfew from 27 in four districts, no negative report will be available in the state

Keeping in mind the fast growing corona cases in Himachal Pradesh, the state government has decided to impose night curfew in four districts of the state. Night curfew will be imposed in Kangra, Una, Solan and Sirmaur districts from 10 am to 5 pm from 27 April. This arrangement will continue till May 10. The decision was taken at a high-level emergency meeting held at Oakover Shimla, despite a holiday on Sunday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Jairam Thakur.

It was also decided in the meeting that every person coming from outside states must bring the RTPCR report within 72 hours. Those who do not bring the report will have to remain home quarantined for 14 days. However, he will have the option of getting the test done seven days after his arrival in the state.

If the report comes negative, they do not need to be isolated. It was also decided that local bodies in both urban and rural areas would implement all SOPs and guidelines in their respective areas and give them the authority to initiate legal action against the violators.

The spread of this epidemic can be investigated. It has been decided in the meeting that a special task force will be constituted at the local level to effectively implement the SOP during all religious, social, political and cultural ceremonies. Those violating SOP will have the right to take strict action.

The state government will periodically review the situation and decisions will be taken accordingly. Urban Development Minister Suresh Bhardwaj, Technical Education Minister Dr. Ram Lal Markanda, Health Minister Dr. Rajiv Saizal, Forest Minister Rakesh Pathania, Chief Secretary Anil Khachi, Additional Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena, Secretary Health Amitabh Awasthi and other officials attended the occasion. took.
