All higher education institutions, state universities, private universities and degree colleges in UP will remain closed till May 15. During this time, online classes will also be postponed. In this regard, instructions have been issued by the government to all higher educational institutions.
Earlier in the month of April, the Yogi government had ordered the closure of all schools from class one to 12th. At the same time, colleges and universities were also ordered to be closed. But online classes were going on in colleges. However, now the government has also postponed the online classes till May 15.
Please tell that the Yogi government has already postponed the 10th and 12th examinations of the Board of Secondary Education i.e. UP Board. These examinations were said to be conducted after May 20. However, no information has been revealed about the dates of board examinations so far.
Holidays declared in this state too
The Higher Education Department of Odisha has announced a summer vacation for higher educational institutions from May 5 to 31 in the state. Institutions will not take any kind of online classes during this period. Universities and colleges have been asked not to conduct any online or practical examinations, including viva-voice and interviews, during the holiday. However, pre-determined Viva-Voice and PhD and other research scholars’ interviews during this period will be conducted according to the time table.
