Horrific figures of Corona in Delhi, more than 17 thousand new cases a day; 104 deaths

Review meeting of CM Kejriwal

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will discuss with the Lieutenant Governor through a review meeting at 11 am today about the rising corona infection in Delhi. Apart from this, at 12 o’clock the Health Minister will also meet with the Chief Secretary and senior officials on the current situation of Corona.

Corona’s record-breaking cases have been registered in Delhi on Wednesday. In 24 hours, 17,282 new cases were reported and 104 patients died. On Tuesday, 13,468 new cases were reported in Delhi.

For the first time, the number of active patients crossed 50,000

This is the highest number of deaths of corona patients after 30 November. On November 30, 108 patients died. The positivity rate in Delhi has gone up to about 16 per cent, for the first time in Delhi, the number of active patients has crossed 50,000.

Kovid beds status

Delhi government ordered banquet halls to be added from hospitals so that the number of beds can be increased. The government is emphasizing on increasing the number of Kovid-19 beds in different hospitals of Delhi.

Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain has informed that a total of 13 thousand beds are ready. Now the number is being increased even more. There is no shortage of ventilators in Rajdhani, the data on the government’s app is absolutely correct. On the delay in the investigation report, the minister said that most of the reports are coming within 24 hours, where there is delay, action will be taken.

Migration started again
