How to add new family member name in ration card through online and offline

One Nation One Card scheme implemented

The Government of India has now implemented the One Nation One Ration Card scheme across the country. After this scheme, you can also add the name of the new member to the ration card online and take full advantage of the government scheme.

Documents required to add new member’s name in ration card –

1. If the name of any child is to be added then-

  • Ration card of the head of the household (both photocopy and original)
  • Child’s birth certificate
  • Aadhar card of both the parents of the child

2. If the daughter-in-law’s name is to be added after marriage in the house, then-

  • Female aadhar card
  • Marriage Certificate (Marriage Certificate)
  • Husband’s ration card (both photocopy and original)
  • Certificate of removal of name from the ration card which was in the parent’s house earlier




Offline process for adding new member’s name in ration –

  • You have to go to your nearest food supply center.
  • Now take all the mentioned documents with you.
  • There you will have to take the form adding the name of the new member.
  • Fill all the detail information in the form.
  • Now submit the form along with the documents to the department.
  • You will also have to submit some application fee here.
  • After the submission of the form, the officials will give you a receipt, which you should keep with you.
  • Through this receipt you can check the status of online application.
  • The officials will check your form and after document verification you will get your ration at home in at least 2 weeks.




Online process for adding new member’s name in ration –

  • You have to go to the official site of your state’s food supply.
  • Here we have given you the link of the site of UP (https://fcs.up.gov.in/FoodPortal.aspx).
  • Now you have to create a login ID, if you already have a people ID, then log in with it
    On the home page, the option to add a new member will appear.
  • By clicking on it, a new form will open.
  • Here fill all the information of the new member of your family correctly.
  • Along with the form, you will also have to upload the soft copy of the required documents.
  • After submitting the form, you will get a registration number, through which you can track your form in this portal.
  • Officials will check the form and documents. If all goes well then your form will be accepted and the ration card will be delivered to your home through post.
